Tim Hanna, Mayor of the City of Appleton


   
Timothy M. Hanna is a lifelong resident of Appleton, married with three children.  He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and worked at W.S. Patterson Company and Community First Credit Union before being elected Mayor of Appleton in 1996.  He is Chairman of the Wisconsin Land Council and Cities’ Representative on the Wisconsin Farmland Advisory Council.  He has served on the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Task Force on the Stewardship Program, the Governor’s Commission on State/Local Partnerships for the 21st Century, the Governor’s Task Force on State and Local Government, and the UW Chancellor-appointed Regional Economic Development Work Group.  He is a member of the board of directors of the Wisconsin Alliance of Cities, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, the Appleton Boychoir, and the Fox Cities/Kurgan Sister Cities Program.  He was also a two-term Appleton Alderman and has won the Appleton Taxpayers Association “Friend” Award, and the Fox-Wolf Basin 2000 Becky Wallace Award.
