Wayne Matzke is President and Chief Executive Officer of Grande Cheese Company, a world-class dairy company that has facilities throughout the state of Wisconsin  including, Lomira, Brownsville, Fond du Lac, Friendship, Juda, Rubicon, Waupun and Wyocena.

 

A graduate of UW-Madison, Wayne earned a degree in agricultural economics. Wayne has consistently maintained a high degree of interest in the promotion of agricultural and how it affects our economy since his days at Madison. Currently he is a member of the American Dairy Products Association and the International Dairy Products Association. 

 

Wayne is also very committed to idea of "service to one's community", and has been actively involved in numerous Boards and organizations over the years. He serves on the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation Board of Directors, the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home Advisory Board and he is the 2004 Chairman of the Board for the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce.

 

Early in his career he lived and worked in the Green Bay area but now calls Fond du Lac his home. He and his wife Mary have raised three children.
